3. Alopecia Areata Totalis - At this stage if the patient does not seek any treatment, this medical disorder will continue to progress to the whole body. Alopecia Areata Universalis next phase will prove to be a stressful condition when hair loss will occur throughout the scalp resulting a bald head. The will now look as though its been shaven. The whole scalp will look bare.
4. Alopecia Areata Universalis - The most advanced stage in this autoimmune disorder when hair from all parts of the body is lost. There will be no hair at all that will be growing even within the nose or even at the pubic area.
5. Alopecia Areata Barbae - This type of Alopecia Areata is another form of beginning phase. In this form the follicles on the patients face will be affected. It can be in a few circles or some times in big patches. All though sometimes it is not noticeable as many tends to shave, it may affected those having facial hair.
